The Sumobel Group is a retail trade of furniture, decoration and home equipment in general.

Its beginnings in the furniture sector date back to year 1978, when its founders started their activity as wholesalers, becoming one of the best known and recognized firms in this sector within the national sphere.

In 1994 the group opens its first retail store named after the commercial brand Sumobel.

Since then, the company’s sale points, turnover, client list and presence in the market have grown exponentially. Thus Sumobel has achieved a leader position in Malaga and has become one of the most valued firms at a national level.

Sumobel is based in Malaga, Spain, where its first centre was opened. Sumobel centres now count to seven, including four large department stores (more than 5.000 m²) and three medium size stores (between 1.500 and 3.000 m²), as well as a central logistics warehouse of 12.000 m².

Its client list includes 100.000 customers.
It manages an average of 15.000 furnishings a year and it has provided equipment to homes in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Since 2000 Sumobel operates under a Quality Management System certified by Aenor and iQnet (ISO 9001:2000).
